Since I went all hip hop/memory lane/when I was kid I a chunky suburbanite that liked Guns N Roses as much as the Beastie Boys on the last post, this gem of a video found it’s way from the back of my mind to the front. Biz Markie performing “Bennie and the Jets” on the Chris Rock show will forever be engrained in my memory as one of the funniest live performances I’ve ever seen. Watch it and you’ll see that even his band agrees. Wish Biz would’ve worked this into his DJ set at MOCT a few years bacK.
